The first sign of something scary building up, showed on my radar a couple of years ago. There's no mystery in why I take an interest in [what's left of] the OWK, but why would a slave care about the world of Magic Creatures? [1] After all, the world of Hogwarts and Harry Potter is sealed of from mere muggles like you and me.

True, but even the tightest seal is just that. It also can accidentally leak. Ask any of the Wise Goddesses of the wizarding world about the limits of magic and they will tell you there is an infinite number of them, almost all of which are invisible to even the Magical Community itself.

Yesterday, I wrote one reason the original OWK didn't make it, was the fact the owners didn't run it as a business. [2] It's far from the only reason. Equally important in why the OWK was born with flawed DNA is the location. Černá is situated in the heart of the modern-day Czech republic, meaning cold winters and hot summers. Imagine you buy a house to rent out only to discover that because of the weather you can only collect six months a year. You forgot it is freezing cold during the winter. That's gonna be a drain on your finances.

OWK III - What Went Wrong? (part I)

The short answer: it's all about the business & location, location, location, combined with too much of an extreme ideology.Very expensive fun also.

The question "what went wrong" can be misleading. In the case of the OWK, I don't think so however. What does it take for the world's pre-eminent - and perhaps only ever - full-time femdom society to close it's doors?

Money makes the world go round
Some men balk at the prices pro-dommes charge. They conveniently forget pro-dommes have to pay bills too. Break it down and I'm actually surprised they don't charge more. Think about it, apart from the daily cost of living, tribute should include pension payments, liability and health insurance, vacation pay and compensation for loss of privacy, just to name a few.

And that is before you take into account most successful pro-dommes invest time and energy in their sessions, meaning they prepare for sessions, putting considerable energy in them and because of that don't do 40 hours of sessions a week.

OWK II - A Day in the Life

Even though the grandest experiment in femdom didn't last long, most of those who have visited the OWK, got hooked for life.

The OWK, located near the Czech city of Černá, was Disneyland for femdom aficionados. During its short run from 1996 to 2008, it made an life-long impression on those who actually stayed there. To this day, both actual and wannabe visitors mourn its demise

So, what was it like? Surprisingly, stories about visits to the OWK are hard to find. When it comes to images and clips, it is the opposite. Whoever was in charge of marketing for the OWK did a superb job. A decade after the world's finest femdom fantasy shut down, its imagery continues to rule the internet. Therein also lies the problem. Those who look from a distance at the OWK see something that probably never was.

OWK I - Rise of an Unique Femdom Project

After running teasers and spoilers for six months - being kind here - let's cut to the chase.

Ever since Game of Thrones decided not to go out with a spectacular bang, HBO is frantically searching for a replacement. One of the ideas being floated, is a show called "Confederate" about a post-Civil War society where slavery is legal. Floating that idea causes the inevitable backlash.

In the year 1580 the Ming dynasty is ruling China for 212 years. It will take another 64 years for the Middle Kingdom's emperor to lose its heavenly mandate. In that same year, the Battle of Omosu took place in neighbouring Japan. Recent archaeological evidence confirms wide female involvement: DNA tests on 105 bodies revealed that 35 of them were female. Closer to home, also that year, construction for a castle near the Czech city of Černá began.

Will Someone Please Think About The Sisterhood. Or what happened to the OWK?

The ghost of femdom past has long abandoned the OWK. The ghost of femdom present needs to be sacked for failing their job. Let's hope the ghost of femdom future knows what's at stake. Believe it or not, despite the whole femdomania hype and pink symbols, the changes in the OWK are sadly not just skin deep.

It's bad for business to sell slaves the dream of truly unimaginable suffering. The Other World Kingdom (OWK) is located in the heart of the Czech Republic where in wintertime temperatures at night drop to minus 10 degrees Celsius (-14 degrees Fahrenheit). There are some things no amount of male companionship can make up for.

As a guy, born around the time the first man landed on the moon, maintaining a blog suitable for all ages is becoming more and more difficult. Good luck explaining to millennials what a rotary phone is or a compass. Don't look at your phone kids, it can't help you.

Let's hope kinky millennials know what the Other World Kingdom (OWK) is. For femdom's sake, just ignore the irony of that name. The OWK was a compound where people could live the femdom lifestyle. At a price. The femdom kingdom was founded shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall and coincides with the rise of the internet. Lucky OWK, for it allowed the realm to make some money on the side by hawking images and video clips during those cold winter months when everyone retreated to Prague and every other fun-sun-filled places in the world.

Unlike queen Patricia of the Other World Kingdom, not all women are allowed to enjoy the femdom life from the shadows.

In retrospect what impressed me most, is how queen Patricia, ruler of that femdom fairy tale, called the Other World Kingdom [OWK], understood privacy 2.0, before anyone else. Twenty years ago the OWK, just like the internet, was in its infancy. Much of the OWK's initial success was due to being an early adaptor of the online world.

To this day, you are haunted by the many, many images of dommes being showcased at the OWK, mostly on a pattern of ageless, rotating recycling. The one person that [doesn't] stand out is queen Patricia, probably because even then she understood, unlike most of us, the upcoming assault on our privacy, the connected world would turn out to be.

1. OWK - Other World Korrupted?
The notorious, beloved femdom compound finally seems to be living up to it's name. As a preview, a 45 minute clip by Goddess Amazon, detailing her encounters with the new - male - owner of the OWK. To be fair, what caught my attention was the name Womania and too much pink in the new logo.
