It's international women's day, whatever that means. Also an excellent opportunity to brush up your credentials as a superior slave, one who cares about da cauze.
A couple of days ago I bumped into a tweet by a domme trying to explain why she didn't respond to or turned down slaves. Dick pics made a lot of sense. His Fetlife profile wasn't filled out a lot less. Anyone still using that? Also the slave's social media didn't show the correct amount of awareness regarding women's issues. And he had no opinion regarding women of colour. Note: Dutch is white, Caucasian if you prefer. Maybe the applicant just loves women or has other things on his mind.
There are a lot of things wrong with the world. But if you keep accusing others of not living up to your standards, rather than educating them, you [F/m] are part of the problem and no symbolic name day is gonna save you. I'm the slave, you're the mistress, remember? Noblesse oblige.
Just like Valentine's Day, International Women's Day started out as a force for good. These days it feels more like pointing the finger at those who don't go through the proper [meaningless] motions, ticking of the usual boxes.
That domme ended with saying she needed money for her travel fund. No amount,how little, was too small. And she's well off. How 'bout donating that tiny amount of money to "Girls Not Brides" instead? Take a chance and maybe you save a girl from a life of forced servitude. It's not just men who are not ready to be blessed with the gift of servitude, dommes too, need time to grow before they truly can embrace something so powerful.
Face the music
Make no mistake 'He hit me [and it felt like a kiss]' deals with domestic abuse. It has nothing to do with BDSM. One comment on Youtube explains it:
"This song is not about enjoying pain. it is far from it. it is about being in a destructive relationship, a woman who is being subjected to domestic violence, yet she is so in love with him that she cannot leave him for abusing her. that's why "it felt like a kiss" is in the title, because she is blinded by love. it's a situation many women, even men, can find themselves in and is heartbreaking."

2023 International Women's Day cancelled in Ukraine.

No illusions |
One of the most devastating images I've seen in a long time. Not because of the woman at the center but because the grim look on their faces, reflecting the realities of war.
Meanwhile Ukraine still doesn't have them 40 year old F16 fighter planes. They are fighting our war, dying out there in the cold trenches. For us! As for the Germans and their Leopard tanks: shame on you. Only adding insult to injury by hesitating and prioritizing petty, backward looking politics over the lives of your friends.
