World Corporal Punishment Research

Perhaps home schooling is an option.

“Anyone who has had any experience of children, knows that the only way to deal with a refractory girl (no matter how old she is) is by a sound spanking.’’’’. I have seen my own sisters beaten by every form of appliance from a hair-brush to a cane, and always resulting in their benefit.”

- Letter to Dublin Evening Mail, August 1937. [3]

Some things never change. And by that I don't just mean modern day slavery. Corpun is a website dedicated to corporal punishment research. "Over 5,000 pages of factual documentation and resources on corporal punishment around the world" make it a huge repository. Still there's one thing missing. I cannot help but wonder why [start such a website]?

Personally I don't agree with corporal punishment. Failure usually has more to do with the teacher than the pupil. The website explicitly rules out fetishes, so it's up to me to make it interesting. In the 'latest video's' section on the homepage is a video of a 'South Korean teenager who gets 20 quickfire whacks on the backside from his young lady teacher (2008).' Emphasis on 'ýoung' - my emphasis that is. Click on the link and you come across this description, accompanied by a rather jolly 'new!'The Korean version of the Japanese manga Prison School perhaps?

"A boy aged perhaps 16 has been made to stand at the front of the class with his hands on the wall. His youngish lady teacher administers 20 rapid-fire strokes of the cane across the seat of his trousers. Both parties give the impression that this is a routine, everyday event. The teacher carries out her task with brisk, no-nonsense efficiency. At the end of the punishment the student dutifully returns to his place, grimacing in pain and clutching his buttocks. We don't see the rest of the class but they sound to be all boys and they are very rowdy, although the atmosphere feels matter-of-fact rather than jocular."
Business as usual.

Key phrases are "routine, everyday event" and "brisk, no-nonsense efficiency". What do you  expect from the guy who reboots a simple movie like The Truman Show into the Femdom Show?

Found the Corpun website through the blog of Japanese mistress Nina.

[1] Before I forget, this Valentine we absolutely have to discuss Korean TV and cinema. You know the drill: more on that later, LOL.

[2] Also coming up in a later post, the benefits of Sunday school.

[3] Quote from a discussion on corporal punishment in Ireland before WWII.
