'Born To Make you Crawl' - Mistress Roberta

From the 'what a woman'-department

What if crawling comes naturally - AKA the easy part?

Hand in glove? The wonderful mistress Roberta on a visit to The English Mansion.

The other day I read an article about a woman, newly available and looking for love. In her forties, which is good, she rattled of the usual list. Tall, educated [whatever that means], stable, mature, good job and  - hold your horses -  a full head of hair. Women and sexism, whenever the two of them meet, its love child is ugly, no exceptions.

More interesting is the opinion of Dr. Phil. If you want to know, better hurry. TV's most famous shrink is retiring next month. His marriage on the other hand is still going strong, bald senior citizen or not. Oddly it's his second one  His first one no longer exists. It was annulled after just three years. Huh? I always thought you can only do that with marriages that are not consumed. The only explanation that makes sense is that his first wife locked him up in chastity. After all, an honest man like Dr. Phil never lies. What other reason can there be?

Despite all that, some say because of, I think it's best not to ask Dr. Phil for femdom advice whether he is F-positive or not. He is so predictable. "You need therapy." Look who's talking.

It's not illegal to dream...

Retirement looming or not, there's one question I desperately want to ask doc. "Do you think it's cool for a woman to have a tattoo that says "born to make you crawl". [Yes!] Then again, a man who is so open about his preferences - three years in chastity and then going public by having your marriage annulled, surely must agree it's awesome.

So busy, don't know what's left, right or center these days. The OWK's grand finale has to wait. Thinking of it, the tidal playground reminded me of something. In those early, nostalgic years, two well-known dommes from Romania frequented its premises. Mistress Ezada continues to be in the spotlights while mistress Roberta choose to carve out her own, less visible path. But what a quest it must have been.

Despite the fact that having a soft spot as a slave is the dumbest idea ever - OK, except for asking Dr. Phil for advice - I do have one for mistress Roberta. For obvious reasons I've been carrying her torch for a long time - like a moth to the flame - all because of her personal gravity. Don't know when I first noticed mistress Roberta's tattoo but it's awesomeness is off the scale. And that's coming from someone who really doesn't like tattoo's.

Truth.

Yep, mistress Roberta has this wonderful tattoo on her back that says 'born to make you crawl.' Pointless. If anyone doesn't need it, it's her. We all know she's dead-serious. And love her all the more for that. Devotion, so wonderful and wicked, what more can a slave dream of? Personally I think it's super. Not for everyone obviously but what a powerful expression of what's most important to mistress Roberta. 'This is me, this is what matters to me, this is who I am [full force]. Take it or leave it. For men like Dutch, the latter is simply impossible. Never cared about the opinion of Doctor Phil. Mistress Roberta is right. Of course she is. I'd definitely crawl in front of her. If only. With or without a smile on my face, I'd be delighted to make her happy. When will you learn Dutch? Get in line. But what a woman. Wow!

Mary J Blige - Be Without You

The Guardian has an interesting article about singer Mary J Blige. Saw her a couple of years ago at the North Sea Jazz Festival. At the time she was going through a break-up, and it hurt. We've all been there, so yes that bad. Her music is raw, honest and powerful. Still Mary J Blige is underrated.

"Chemistry was crazy from the kick-off and neither of us knew why". Been there, done that. Never left.. Forever Wondering. Sledgehammer anyone.? It's not because Valentine's is coming up that I choose Be Without You. Neither am I doing any DIY jokes about them lyrics hitting me like a ton of bricks either. It's just raw, honest and pure Mary J. Blige and how she sings those lyrics that force you to realize how sometimes there's no escape. Please read the Guardian article on how Mary J Blige becomes the very thing she sings about. Then listen to this song again.

"Under the circumstances [Glastonbury 2015, rainstorm, Dutch], you could have forgiven Blige for phoning it in. Instead, she unleashed a performance of scarcely believable power and ferocity. If you haven’t seen it, search out the BBC footage of her doing her 2001 single No More Drama (unbelievably, it isn’t available on any official platforms). Midway through, she fixes on the words “no more”, singing them again and again: screaming, howling, her voice dropping to a sob, then defiantly rising – apparently completely consumed by a song she must have performed hundreds of times. By its conclusion, Blige was crouched at the front of the stage being lashed by the rain. The crowd response was so loud and so long that Blige implored them to stop – “y’all are gonna make me cry”. For a moment it looked like she was going to break down. Instead, she tore into Family Affair, arguably her greatest single and a song entirely at odds with its predecessor."
'A dramatic increase in momentum’ … Mary J Blige performing in New York, October 2022.'

[PS, this Summer Jill Scott {here, here and here}will perform at NSJ. A 'friend of mine' has tickets. Don't you envy 'him'? Why would I?]

Devastating earthquake in Turkey [and Syria]. LET'S NOT FORGET UKRAINE. The earthquake is over, the war with all of its death and destruction continues. Because of one man. Tears keep on flowing. If you could ask them, Ukraine would rather choose no invasion.

Turkish president Erdoğan did have a choice. Rather than taking care of his people by making houses earthquake proof, he preferred building bridges to nowhere, in the hope of winning another election and stay in power. The war in Ukraine lingers on, the earthquake is over. Support whoever you want but whatever you do, DON'T FORGET.

[And give Ukraine those F16 fighter planes. Technology is over four decades old, that's only slightly younger than 'Maverick' Tom Cruise, who has six decades under his belt. Back on track, remember how Erdoğan bought Russian anti-aircraft but refused to leave NATO. Support whomever you want but never forget. Never forget that Ukraine is fighting our war. It's them who are dying in 21th century trenches to save us. Now go on and make that donation!]
