Of Circles And Squares

Everybody knows circles are by definition perfect

Explaining the true nature of beauty or happiness is impossible. Don't read on.

men are squares, women are circles. Slaves are squares, mistresses are circles
Pretty much self-explanatory. I'll leave it at that.

Circles and squares represent the arch-type of what it means to be human, once you get rid of life's bloatware. Two geometrical figures sum up the essence of female and male. Lean in, look closer and observe. Circles and squares are highly similar, yet oh so different. When in doubt, emphasize what connects them. Not convinced? Grab a random stranger and ask. As soon as Mr. Square catches his breath, he can't stop talking about the overwhelming similarities between both forms. No surprise there, a man's life revolves around certain Wonderful Girls, Magical Creatures and their beautiful, rounded corners. [1] Just not because of that.

Circles and squares are not that different, we're talking minor details at best. What connects both shapes is the fact that circles and squares need each other. Great, right? How about a little unfair instead? The very definition of a circle is perfection, no beginning, no end. Meanwhile a square is just four lines. Good luck bringing together the definition of perfection and a burly random set of lines at best.

Still, my love for femdom is the offspring of my love of women. Like the classics read: different loving. Just not exclusively. Simply put, men are squares, women are circles. We all know the one and only road to happiness for squares always leads to circles. Proud to be a square, yet at the same time warming myself in the glow of a perfect circle.

On the first day, the internet was born. On the second day, we squares hijacked it. Bad plan, there's no point in a 'squares only' community, not even online. On the third day of the internet, the OWK suddenly popped up. Looking back, it was a bit crude, but then so were programming languages. As the latter improved, the mists of time slowly absorbed the former. History working it's magic at it's best. Excellent.

"The hardest harshness, is the best harshness. [Because slaves only deserve the best, meaning nothing at all, which makes them very happy.]" Not that anyone actually ever wrote that, but it sounds very cool from a square perspective. More importantly, it tells you we squares are lost without circles.

So what do men, vanilla, dominant or submissive actually want? They definitely don't want to be a circle. Nor do they want to be a lonely square. The reality of it all is that squares need circles. Mature squares know they have a lot to offer but ask for even more in return. It's why we're squares.

There once was a circle. One day her eyes catch this square she fancies. He likes her too, a lot. Actually, being a square myself, I have absolutely zero idea what she sees in me. However squares only live for one thing, to be with their perfect circle. Sounds silly, I know, because a circle is only a circle when she's perfectly round, which means all circles are perfect. Squares are a bit rough around the edges, but what we actually mean is you're my perfect circle. No, not her, you. You're the one I love, my beautiful circle.

Same old story. Mr. Square and Mrs. Circle date for a while, get married and have lots of kids and nannies [f/m]. Or not. In their vanilla life, mathematicically speaking the area under her circle equals the amount of real estate his square covers. Under cover of the night, reality is somewhat different. At night - with her in his arms - the diameter of her circle exactly matches that of his hypothenuse. In other words, she swallows him whole. And yes, that makes him the luckiest square of all time. Once daylight breaks, the area under their respective symbols realign. Just like what happened during the night, but differently. Hard to explain, just trust me on this one.

Without women, men are reduced to mere competitors in deadly monster truck races, where the winner is the guy who doesn't make it out alive. Life as a square, without matching circle, has no meaning.

Just like the moon wanes and wakes, so do the areas under her circle and his square. Sometimes the square grows in size - it's a loving thing. More often it's her circle that eclipses him. Totally unfair until you realize we squares are the truly blessed ones. Being in the orbit of something infinitely more perfect and beautiful inside and out, is like the sun always shining. On top of that, she told me she loves me, just before I left this morning!

Long ago, circles and squares lived happily in the Garden of Eden. To repeat the obvious, circles are perfectly round, by definition. Squares are not. One day, a square with ill-fitting reading glasses mistook a perfect circle for his perfect circle. Like they say, the rest is history. Luckily the not so smart gods kicked out the circles together with the squares. Ever since, except for a few hiccups, circles and squares are on a real highway to heaven.

Curves are beauty. Beauty is perfection. Beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. Oh, shut up. Mistress is always right and she told me I'm never wrong. I may be a mere lowly square from Dutchland, but I recognized my perfect circle long before the moment we looked into each other's eyes. Took me a while to tell her but that's because I'm a square. It's OK.

[1] Agreed, that was kinda misleading. Just remember: all circles are perfect but where one man falls head over heels for Circle A, the next will be spellbound by Circle B. Similar, different, in the end Wonderful Girls come in many shapes. Still, My Circle is the best!
