For some reason [language may have something to do with it] the almighty multi-coloured search engine that sees no evil has decided that Britain and Germany are top destinations for men who are into femdom [whatever that means].
On top of it both countries also have an abundant supply of castles. Just mentioning it in case you're into Harry Potter femdom cosplay. And don't tell me such a thing doesn't exist. For a long time now I've been wondering about something less cruel than Azkaban - a place where wizards lock up their fellow magicans.
Closer to home - and more importantly, closer to femdom - there are a couple of prisons in Europe. A while back I wrote about the wonderful lady Daria who's upgrading her Warsaw facilities as we speak. A little closer to Amsterdam there is a pop-up prison. No, the prison doesn't come and go like in a Harry Potter movie, it's just that its usage varies from time to time. You never know where it will appear next but somewhere in Germany is always a safe bet.
In German the place is called das Zuchthaus, a truly lovely name which is impossible to translate without loosing most of its cachet. Prison is most common, house of correction will also do, just like detention center. Still some things sound better in German.
In a post from August 2019 on Domina Forum [in German] somebody explains how it's a one-off event, hosted in a real prison. The place in question ist ein richtiges Zuchthaus where political prisoners in former East Germany were locked up. The facility is now in private hands. Clearly the event was succesful because the next event is in September when the prison guards return to Berlin. Despite the fact that it's an open secret who runs das Zuchthaus, the facility's female management wishes to remain quasi anonymous.
From what I've read it's definitely an overwhelming, immersive experience, one that is certainly not for the faint at heart. And yes I think it's wonderful to stay there. Or so I hope I feel about it 11 years afterwards. On the other hand, slaves usually don't have a say in where, when, why, what and how. Still, somehow I feel it's not for me, perhaps later but definitely not now. Don't know why. Never visited Lady Daria's Warsaw prison either but somehow it feels different. Hard to explain, just read my previous posts on it. And yes, both are equally intimidating, enough to make me go full vanilla for the rest of the summer.
