Some two years ago I wrote about the US sitcom The Big Bang Theory about four guys know all about science and nothing about life. Then I realised something odd. All men were in a D/s relationship without knowing.

Since then I have largely lost interest in The Big Bang Theory. The show shifted from quirky fun - hey isn't that what kink is all about? - towards yet another relationship drama.

Two years on and Femdom Resource writes about the intersection of The Big Bang Theory and BDSM. Sheldon has a nightmare. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) have turned his bedroom into a dungeon. According to The Bitbag Penny's low-cut corset turned out to be too much for British advertisers and the scene was cut from the episode. Apparently Fifty Shades didn't change much for British advertisers.

That leaves the question - especially for a self-confessed gearhead like me - is what kind of new and exciting toys these four scientists would come up with in real life. We'll never know.
