The Truman Show is a 1998 movie about a man, played by Jim Carey, whose whole life is caught on camera without his permission. He literally lives in a bubble from which it's difficult to escape. The movie is years ahead of the world of surveillance capitalism we know live in. In the end our hero manages to escape, but what if his character is both submissive and lives in a reality occupied by dominant women, he cannot escape?
A couple of years ago I ran into a clip about four women, dressed in suburban clothes - zero boots, leather and latex - disciplining a slave like there is no tomorrow. I wish my neighbours were like that, free keys to my apartment for you all. "Scream Christopher, Scream" made me wonder a about the joys of an alternate reality. Doesn't matter if it really exists, the mere idea of a place where men kiss their wives in the morning to go the office - having to explain to the receptionist they're late because "that's just how it works." Roughly translated as some random stranger stopped them. Why? Because she felt the urge to whip him. Giving in to her need for stress relief, she tied him to a bike rack and turned his ass into minced mind at eight in the morning. To make it even worse, women who stopped to watch the spectacle, applauded her determination. Try tell that to the lady at the reception when you limp into the office.
Apart from being awesome at what you do during the day, the only thing you think about is making it home in one piece. One ordeal per day - apart from the ones your mistress places on you - is more than you can handle. Kind of. These last couple of days you're inner rebellious streak has gotten the upper hand. Somehow the Technicolor bubble you seem live in, doesn't feel like reality and you act accordingly.

It turns out to be a quiet evening in and nothing happens. The next morning, as you walk to the office, the lady from 3C smiles and waves at you. After last night, that smile means something else. She knows you know and her smile grows even bigger.
