#NeverNormal AKA You never guess what happened
Librarians in popular culture part 4
A personal note on librarians. It's not just the fake librarians you have to be careful of. Real librarians are very good at changing the rules without telling you. And there is no point in complaining. Complaints are useless. "Haven't you read the note on the door?" "I assume you can read, why else would you be here." Well, there's an explanation for everything. Just read what happened to me the other day. And yes, the book was exactly 11 days overdue. Just my luck.
And when I came home, mistress was even more cross. Something about being selfing and not allowing other people to read those books. Just look at today's masthead image. Soit. As long as we're together. A kiss would've been nice though.
“Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.”
— Maya Angelou
Librarians and the power of reading
It's the inside that counts [yes, that goes for books too. D'oh]
