Continued from part I: OWK - Rise of an Unique Femdom Project.

The OWK, located near the Czech city of Černá, was Disneyland for femdom aficionados. During its short run from 1996 to 2008, it made an life-long impression on those who actually stayed there. To this day, both actual and wannabe visitors mourn its demise
So, what was it like? Surprisingly, stories about visits to the OWK are hard to find. When it comes to images and clips, it is the opposite. Whoever was in charge of marketing for the OWK did a superb job. A decade after the world's finest femdom fantasy shut down, its imagery continues to rule the internet. Therein also lies the problem. Those who look from a distance at the OWK see something that probably never was.
Kink is about sex. Many kinksters hate the idea, To me, there is no greater truth in life, sex or femdom. Oscar Wilde put it like this: “Everything in the world is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power.” It doesn't come more full circle than that.
Whoever was in charge of OWK marketing did a stellar job. Woman clad in leather, wearing boots, always a whip in hand, to many that is how they remember the OWK. Of course it is all in their minds, for they have never visited the femdom matriarchy.
There are two types of slave in the OWK. The first group comprises of slaves that accompany their mistress. The second category is called "state slaves", basically that means those without an accompanying mistress to serve. State slaves are assigned a unique number. The first few, those with the highest numbers, are the queen's personal slaves. The number "one" is assigned to the queen's first and most loyal slave: osel. The word means donkey in Czech. All state slaves are available to any mistress upon request.
Sublime lady of the OWK and Los Angeles dominatrix Simone Justice has visited the OWK six times. There used to be a post chronicling her first visit on her blog. It must have been shortly after the place opened, internet was still in its infancy.
To her delight, the OWK is for real. Slaves are not allowed to walk on the paths. Electricity is generated by enslaved men, pushing a giant cartwheel.
Downplaying her own stature, mistress Simone writes how she first meets Irene Boss and mistress Troy at the OWK. Most people don't get it, but to me understating who you are, is all about strength and confidence. Her account is perhaps the best if you want to get a feel for what the OWK was like from a woman's perspective.
In 2000 and 2001 Mistress Troy visits the OWK three times. Remembering the fun and fond memories, she reminisces. "The slaves I encountered there were true worshipers of Women in the healthiest sense." "The OWK was unique in the area of Female supremacy." Like many, she misses the OWK terribly.
Guess what, Ms. Tytania, a London-based professional dominatrix also misses the place. She went there in 2007 and 2008. In an undated post she takes a nostalgic trip down memory lane, telling how it was to stay at the OWK.
In "Welcome to the Other World" Lady Femina and her slave Tony remember the OWK as something that comes close to a concentration camp. It didn't appeal to either one. Femdom attract only a handful of people. Within that group there are as many different opinions about what femdom is all about, as there are vision on what is sexy and what not in the vanilla world.
The great majority of dominant women have a heart - often a big one, though they hide it well - and are turned of by the extreme philosophy the OWK propagates. Not that they wouldn't love to inflict more misery and pain on their slaves, but because in the end there are limits to sustainable, consensual femdom.
And that's about it. In the end everything vanishes [Certainly from the internet.] - So what went wrong? Read part III.
