My blog often reflects upon topics others don’t touch for fear of being singled out by the femdom police. Naughty corner for you and no more playtime! The fact that I enjoy a good fight doesn’t help either. I prefer the ones with those who hold themselves in high regard, but the world at large disagrees. If you wanna play with the big boys, better come prepared. Some interpret my writing as animosity towards kink. They are wrong. Quite the contrary, I’m loving it. Why wouldn’t I? Born this way. When I discovered I was not alone – there are women who nurture similar yet opposite interests – I felt like a kid in the candy store. Didn’t we all?
All bodyparts have their specific function. Best to use your brain for thinking, or so they say. Unfortunately not everybody does. Desire and opportunity make many of us dishonest. Too often I read about people with a sincere interest in femdom, who are abused and mislead. I blog to think, learn and discover. If my writing helps separate the wheat from the chaf, and make femdom a more honest experience, I consider that a bonus.
Power of Femdom
Femdom - when things click - is an overwhelming and intense experience. That holds true for both sides of the leash. It doesn’t matter if you’re living the lifestyle dream or feel the force bedside only. Intensity in the moment is what matters. People don’t understand femdom, something that includes the majority of its practitioners. I certainly don’t. I don’t need to either. Yet that same ignorance makes it hard to understand why femdom can morph into something bigger and more beautiful. Lift mundane cravings to a higher plan and sometimes they turn into art. Power exchange is a central tennet of femdom. Because of that dommes are often better positioned to transform desire into something deeper, wider and more intense. It is not neccesarily their prerogative though. Dragging femdom out of the shadows into the vanilla light, is what makes some dommes true artisans.
Don’t fall victim to the illusion that the only kind of art which deserves the name comes from [real world] suffering. Rather the opposite is true. Creativity is the vessle through which joy is translated from the things you are passionate about into something else. Something that breaks through the boundaries of your passion.
Anything can be turned into art. But not all art is worth that name. It is about energy. As I once explained the power of a domme feels like a local increase in gravity. Something you cannot see or hear, yet it is there. You feel the force. It weighs down on you and makes you feel heavy, pushing you towards the floor. Something you cannot fight.

No matter how strong or tough a man thinks he is, that is what it is like when he finally finds her. For someone whose basic attitude is: “bring it on”, being incapacitated by the power of a woman is overwhelming. Is it love? Depends. Lust? Likely. Something more? Certainly. What? Probably angel dust for lack of a better word.
Nothing more frightening than the smile of a happy sadistic domme. Captivating at the same time, which is probably even scarier. (Image: movie clip, title unknown) |
Femdom is a source of raw energy, that on occasion transforms the beauty of it into something more, art for instance. There is one caveat. For it to be effective there has to be a connection between the people involved. Once you realize femdom and art are both about people and passion, you have come full circle.

A True Artisan
I started this post because a beautiful image of Japanese mistress Hibiki got me thinking about what more femdom can be than just carnal desire. Yes mistress Hibiki is dominant, famous and attractive. But there is more. I first noticed her in one of the OWK movies you find on the internet. She was the realm’s first Japanese mistress. What shines through is something very intense about her demeanor. The more I discovered about her, the more curious I got. For good measure: as a domme, she is too intense for me. Despite that I find her fascinating.
When the image popped up, I just loved it. I googled her and my spider senses weren’t wrong. Mistress Hibiki is one such example of a dominatrix who lifts femdom out of the ordinary and raises it to an artform. That makes her a true artisan. Below a video to accompany the first image.
