Does the uniform matter when it comes to power exchange? If so, what uniform to choose? Some consider the polka dot dress the ultimate in femine attire, but doesn't that make it a uniform at the same time. A bit of light-hearted writing today and for the time being a little less grumpy.

A twist on a classic theme: red bottom meets green dress |
Sometimes kink is like really odd. A Tumblr user
photo-shopped a sign outside a church. It now reads: "Pleated Skirt Sunday. Ladies wear a nice pleated skirt in church as part of your proper feminine attire for church."
|
Perhaps pay a little more attention to the people around you and a bit less to the dress? |
According to The Hairpin, America's
love affair with the polka dot began in 1926, when Miss America was photographed in a polka dot swimsuit.
Shortly after, in 1928, Disney introduced its cartoon darling Minnie
Mouse wearing a red polka dot dress and matching bow. I recently learned captions are more than just a nuisance, they are a fetish for some. To be honest, never thought of them as such. So I am wondering, is there such a thing as a polka dot dress fetish? Probably, I guess. Doesn't work for me. Sorry.
What I like about it is the
difference between day and night, or better the woman vs the domme. The dress highlights what pleasant or painful surprises may lurk underneath everyday attire. It also pleases the "real dommes never dress up, especially not in leather" kink faction. I think I just scored big with them. I wish. After World War II, Dior told Vogue that his collection [of polka dot dresses] sought “to make women extravagantly, romantically, eyelash-battingly female” again. Doesn't that make it a uniform for femininity?
The first image (top) says it all. Mrs Green Polkadot considers bare-hand spanking serious business. Look at how she presses her lips when she administers the punishment. Such lovely devotion to the job at hand.

Not nearly as much fun as he thought it would be. |
The second image (above) is just as interesting. For some reason I assume the lady in the chair is French. Rather than relaxing, she is leaning forward, enjoying "the show" with a lovely smile on her face. She is just the kind of woman you meet at a parent teacher conference, without ever having to guess what hobbies she has. The tension is palpable in this beautiful image. In some ways this has to be much more humiliating for her slave than many other scenarios.

A smile is a woman's most dangerous weapon. And a hairbrush her best friend? |
|
Quite an impact. |
|
Lovely colour scheme. |
|
What other implements is she hiding behind those books? |
|
Now there's a frugal domme. Spankings are administered with kitchen implements. |
|
Grumpy goddess |
|
With her apron still on, this looks more like an intervention.
Just don't tell Dr. Phill. Or better spank him! We all know he needs it. |

Disney's Lady & The Tramp taught me food and by extension the kitchen, is for lovers.
Somehow I think she doesn't like Disney and today's lesson is not about food. |
